Rock Band drum set too loud?
Just stick mouse pads on them. Aha!
This didn’t work quite as well for me as it did that guy, as I could only find rectangular mouse pads, meaning I had to do a little hard work and manually cut out the pads. With a scalpel, no less, seemingly the only appropriate sharp object in the entire flat. It was an enlightening experience; who knew that cutting holes in foam could be so unexciting?
Still, I hope they’re quiet enough now for exhibition… they’d better be, considering I spent £250 on an Ion Drum Rocker specifically for it, only to find they weren’t compatible with the controller driver for my Mac. Brilliant.
